Ceres - Ahuna Mons "Mountain" At Highest Resolution

Sitting all alone on this cold dwarf planet Ceres sits a Lonely Mountain. So lonely NASA and scientists have not figured out how this has formed yet. Originally defined as "Pyramid shaped Lonely Mountain on Ceres" NASA sure did get the public's attention when this feature as well as the Occator bright lights came into view as the Dawn Spacecraft approached the Dwarf Planet. They have speculations but the speculations they have given us all have been from "Inside the Box". Take a look at the images below and the video to see what I am talking about. The geometry that creates this amazing geological feature on Ceres defies explanation. To my eyes it seems to be an old mining site. If you flipped the mountain over it would not fit inside the "Crater" that is next to it leaving all sorts of questions about its origins. Maybe something crashed here and the dirt from the area next to the craft was used to cover it up and to provide sufficient living conditions until rescue? Maybe we are looking at a mining operation that took a valuable mineral from the area around Ahuna Mons and then whatever or whoever mined it up and left. The ideas are endless and I suggest as you watch the video and look over these images that you let your mind go and just enjoy being "Outside of the Box" for a little while. Here we see Ahuna Mons in all its glory from the 240 mile up resolution taken by the Dawn Spacecraft while in orbit of the Dwarf Planet Ceres. Ceres has been an amazing target for the mission. From this mountain that sits all alone to the Bright Lights at the Occator Crater Ceres has been a homerun mission from the start! I am seeing all sorts of geometry in this image. It is hard to pick a place to start! As always the links to the images are below as well as a link to the website that I have selected a few key places and enhanced them. I hope that NASA decides to try and land the spacecraft on the planet after fully mapping the terrain. What do you think?
