As I sit here pondering my to do list for the coming week my mind turns to space for a brief moment. After Dawn spacecraft went into the safe mode last week I had this deja-vu feeling come over me. How many times will a spacecraft from one of our countries space agencies suffer a glitch upon discovering an anomaly of some kind. Just a couple years ago the world was pumped for the landing of the Chinese Lunar Rover Jade Rabbit. When the rover landed it surely hit with a bang. The first images back showed a beautiful brown landscape with what looked to be A pyramid and another piece of strange moon rock off in the distance. We in the anomaly hunting groups hopped right on it with videos showing these strange and clearly manufactured objects. I was so excited about the drive out to the first anomaly. Jade Rabbit was small but had plenty of technology to get us an up close view. The rover rolled off of the lander and out onto the lunar surface just as planned. Next stop pyramid land.
Then in all my excitement I start reading a space dot com article and I could almost here the chimes they play in background while A contestant on a weeknight game show loses the jackpot. Jade Rabbit suffered A 'glitch'. No more data will be returned...

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel. They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life. I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at. You can get lost in these Gigapans and I really hope that you do! I spent a lot of time stitching these together and making sure that they were the best quality that I could get them. SOL 1448 really has been a goldmine for anomaly hunters and those people who are just hobbiest. I really hope you enjoy this one and expect much more to come from the latest batches of images!
