MARS HUGE PYRAMID - ZIGGURAT - Tower of Babel. ArtAlienTV

ArtAlienTV - "A huge ancient alien pyramid (ziggurat) structure with a large rectangular building right next to it on Mars. It resembles the Tower of Babel with different levels in a step formation with visible uprights.

This high quality Curiosity Rover image shows many buildings on Mount Sharp (Aeolis Mons) but this is the most obvious large intelligent structure.

It must be hundreds of feet tall to show up this big from over 2 km away.

The Great Ziggurat of Babylon was 91 metres (300 ft) in height.

I estimate this one to be the same size approximately.

Babel means the Gate of God, from Akkadian bab-ilu

These structural details are not JPEG artifacts as this is a high res TIFF image made from 2 mastcam shots"

SOL 0 - MARDI Images Dome / Surface Installation During EDL.

Most of the time, when I'm looking at pictures of Mars, I'm not 'looking for anomalies' per se, I'm just looking to see what I can see. Some of you may have noticed that NASA/JPL/MSSS doesn't always release all of the images taken on any given SOL; some will be released on one day and then, days or weeks later, more images for that particular SOL will be released.
The HiRise 'Cube' at (nearly) full resolution.

About a week ago I saw a y/t video from Tyler at SecureTeam in which he talks about Scott Waring's posting of a cube seen in a HiRise image. Some of you may have seen a video or image showing the gold-colorized cube. I also believe that the young man who operates the Mars, Moon, Space, Photo Zoom club has posted a video.

Ordinarily I take "SMOKING GUN!!!" taglines with a grain of salt, but something about this piqued my interest. So I went to the HiRise source page and took a look at the browse (extremely-reduced resolution) image. Sure enough, there's a cubish-looking structure there.

I then downloaded the full-resolution greyscale jp2 (almost 445mb on disk) and started hunting down the software that would let me open a 22191 x 54853 pixel image and clip a full-res, 200dpi, sub-section. I also found the .LBL file for the jp2 which gives technical specs for the image. An excerpt -

So, basically, this image swath is nearly within spitting distance of the North Pole.

The only processing I did was a bit of contrast enhancement, and I rotated the image 90 degrees counter-clockwise. because of that the lower-left corner actually points to 'North'.

Note that the round part, the 'Shield' is approximately 65 meters across, and the walls are 7-10 meters thick...

They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life. I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at. You can get lost in these Gigapans and I really hope that you do! I spent a lot of time stitching these together and making sure that they were the best quality that I could get them. SOL 1448 really has been a goldmine for anomaly hunters and those people who are just hobbiest. I really hope you enjoy this one and expect much more to come from the latest batches of images!
