Odd Lunar Terrain in Montes Apenninus Near Conon Crater was created by Todd

The Apollo 15 panoramic, AS15-P-9381 , shows a section of Montes Apenninus , a range of mountains near Conon Crater, South of the Apollo 15 Landing site. On top of a flat table mountain in the range is a unique section of topography that appears to have multiple structures accompanied by some square enclosures. The images below were processed from the NASA/JSC/ASU raw tif tile #7.

From the shadow, the shape of the object doesn't look like something that would roll easily. :huh:

Also from tile 7 there's this scene with a variety of weird objects sitting together.

What is really weird is there are two trails. one thinner and lighter than the other. They start together, separate, cross and end up not far from one another. :huh:

Here's a better version of George Leonard's book "Somebody Else Is On The Moon" located on the Internet Archive. Chapter 8 is "Things That Move Around."
