Me too.

There have been a lot of articles talking about this…uh…licensing agreement. I have omitted posting any of these because I posted the original mission announcement article some time back and figured it would be redundant. However, when I read Dr. Farrell’s comments, I thought this was an article worthy of posting.

FWIW: I question how a nation state occupying only part of a planet can give a private company permission to land on the Moon. I can see having to obtain permission from such a government to use the airspace over its territory; however I fail to see how such a government’s jurisdiction extends to the surface of the Moon.

To say it's confusing would be an understatement, especially since the UN "Moon Treaty" failed, as the U.S. and other powers refused to sign it. Perhaps it's just a matter of who is able to occupy and set up the first mile markers.:silly: I noticed in the movie "The Martian," they refer to maritime law, although similar concepts have been debated, that is pure fiction.

Man, O' Man...'Get me started.

Yes, there is maritime law. That would be the Law of the Water, as opposed to the Law of the Land. I could go on about that for pages and pages.

However, I prefer Natural Law as in the “Nature” part of the Declaration of Independence where it says “…and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them…”

Laying aside the fact that it explicitly says “earth” and nothing about “moon,” I am of the opinion that Natural Law suggests a form of law that derives from our nature as conceptually thinking life forms and is consonant with the requirements of reason and rational thought.

This is, in my humble opinion, NOT the form of government that is creeping off this planet. I suspect that form of government has more to do with the possibility that, borrowing a(n) hypothesis put forth by Dr. Joseph Farrell, space has been collateralized by certain debt based financial institutions on Earth, thus giving them an imagined jurisdiction that is, at the very least, questionable.

While I prefer to NOT make political posts on this forum, I am compelled to make the above statements as such considerations are circulating in the news of space as I type.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.   They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life.   I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at.  You can get lost in these Gigapans and I really hope that you do!  I spent a lot of time stitching these together and making sure that they were the best quality that I could get them.  SOL 1448 really has been a goldmine for anomaly hunters and those people who are just hobbiest.  I really hope you enjoy this one and expect much more to come from the latest batches of images!
