file Strange Object From Curiosity Sol 574 Image

I found two closer images of this bizarre formation that I never knew existed from Sol 588. The images below were processed into one composite image from the PDS raw DRCL .img files.

Will brought this to my attention, is this wet soil present under the formation? Enlargement below. (05/16/16)

The NASA/JPL-Caltech/MSSS browse jpg versions:

I notice Dawn's "eye" actually resembles the eye socket of an animal skull. The materials of this formation actually resemble lunar formations like House Rock, the appearance of rocky concrete with a mix of skeletal remains of some kind. Although parts of the formation look considerably different in shape than the Sol 574 image, it still appears to be a strange mix of multi-colored materials. In the Sol 574 image the object is also getting hit with direct sunlight where in these images it is not, which may explain the brightness of color in Sol 574 image.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.   They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life.   I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at.  You can get lost in these Gigapans and I really hope that you do!  I spent a lot of time stitching these together and making sure that they were the best quality that I could get them.  SOL 1448 really has been a goldmine for anomaly hunters and those people who are just hobbiest.  I really hope you enjoy this one and expect much more to come from the latest batches of images!
