Strange Formation Near Mount Sharp was created by Todd
This bizarre formation has been looming in the background for a long time. As Curiosity gets closer to Mount Sharp, this landform is slowly coming more into focus. Below is an enlarged enhancement from my
Sol 2633 composite
which I have posted on GigaPan.

Another good looking image is this Mastcam image from Sol 2700. I posted the full image and an enlarged enhancement below. The image was processed from the PDS raw DRCX .img file.

Most all of the mounds in Gale Crater look like collapsed pyramids and monuments to me, this one is no exception. The overlapped edge seems like something that would have collapsed a long time ago but if it was engineered, perhaps it was built to last. The straight edge midway up seems to go across the overlapping protrusions, very strange. I look forward to getting a better look at this one.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel. They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life. I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at. You can get lost in these Gigapans and I really hope that you do! I spent a lot of time stitching these together and making sure that they were the best quality that I could get them. SOL 1448 really has been a goldmine for anomaly hunters and those people who are just hobbiest. I really hope you enjoy this one and expect much more to come from the latest batches of images!
