Neville Thompson's PDS gigapan of MSL 901 offers up a smorgasbord of intriguing anomalies.
Carved and shaped rocks, metallic remains of machines, structural elements and even what might be whimsically-called a "double-ended light sabre" lie scattered all about. The most blatant artifact appears in the last slide: an extremely-clear, well-defined square frame, upon which and scattered to one side are irrefutable non-fractal remains of what might have once been the machine mounted upon it, Gears, grates, tubing and more are clearly-seen within the jumble of broken machinery.
