“ROSETTA STONE” in 3D Stereo

Tucked away in the upper left corner of our master view, a mid-sized boulder doesn’t spark much interest. At first.
Zooming in, the most obvious two factors are what appear to be carvings covering the surface and six visible ninety-degree angles. Decorative “beadwork” surrounds the top of the block, making the block seem to be the upper part of a pillar, wall or other structure at one time.
Indeed, speculative imagination says this is a veritable Rosetta Stone of ancient hieroglyphics or bas-relief figures that once graced a temple pillar in ages past.
More conservative analysis says this is merely a ventifact, a shape resulting from centuries of wind-blown sand wearing away the softer portions of stone, giving it a carved appearance.
But then, there are those pesky ninety-degree angles to explain…
