Once again the Chinese have a new lander on the Moon with a fresh set of wheels. This past week the Chang'e 4 lander with the Yutu 2 rover in tow touched down on the far side of the moon. This is the first time any space agency has achieved this goal. The color photos show what is a brown regolith as shown by NASA in its Moonrise images during the Apollo era images. There are not any noticeable anomalies in the immediate area as the prior mission Chang'e 3 landed in what seemed to be a debris field of ancient Moon inhabitants. I will keep you posted if anything new comes up from the immediate area. I have linked all of the photographs on the WUITS website.
As always I am sorry for the lack of videos. I thank all of you who have stood by the channel and come to the website to read and contribute to all of the great Space news and personal finds of others. The forum really has taken off. I will be back with a tribute video to our good friend Jose Escamilla who passed away this December. His space movies were amazing and so much inspiration to me starting my own YouTube channel and expanding my research.
Rest In Peace Jose Escamilla. I do hope your journey takes you to the stars!
