The uneven lighting which may be caused by a lens hood shadow in the individual images will be hard to eliminate. It's really two composites, foreground and background, just because of the depth of field changes. If I get comparable results or better than what's already up, I'll post my version. Right now though, I'm not enthusiastic about what I see.

It really is a "pig" to work with... I worked out my PC crashes or hangs less if I minimise Photoshop CC while stitching... I get some weird screen freeze thing from the graphics driver if left open... I managed this today... its about 100 images i think..

I'm going to try a few fixes, see if they work but yeah, it's a mess. I'm not freezing up or anything but it's not stitching them the way I would like. Even though they technically combine, I do think we are looking at a least two composites because of the elongated depth of field. 1931MR0100800000900587C00 to 1931MR0100810250900657C00 is one, the rest is another. No matter what, I think those lens shadows are permanent, they don't want to blend out.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.   They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life.   I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at.  You can get lost in these Gigapans and I really hope that you do!  I spent a lot of time stitching these together and making sure that they were the best quality that I could get them.  SOL 1448 really has been a goldmine for anomaly hunters and those people who are just hobbiest.  I really hope you enjoy this one and expect much more to come from the latest batches of images!
