It looks to me like Arkema manufactures acrylic monomers there.

I was thinking that some chemicals might react with water creating an exothermic reaction (explosion). Potassium comes to mind. Acrylic reactions look more complex. Perhaps a chemist or chemistry buff will analyze possible reactions further.

If it was me, I would have neutralized all such chemicals before a hurricane bringing certain flooding arrived, or at least transport the most volatile ones out of harms way. I guess it is more profitable to just let the water neutralize everything and let insurance and business loss tax write offs cover it.

Then I wonder about possible dangers to life, either directly from possible explosions or poisoning of the waters.
