I could not even begin to imagine leaving behind a wife, and three children to go to mars on a one way trip, and to know that you will never return, or see your family ever again, but if you watch this short video you will see people who do just that. I know some things are important in life, but the most important thing in ones life should be there family. I myself would love to go on the mars one trip, but I can't as I have a family, and grandchildren that I love far more than a planet. I am sure that there are several people out there that will fit the description of what the mars one team mission is looking for, and I pray that they take into consideration the fact that a person may have a family with many loved ones to consider as well. here is a short video about the mission that will take off in 2024. thank you all. ben..

I don't see it happening, it seems naive. I wouldn't dismiss the MIT study . It brings up a number of issues up that seem legitimate to me. Plus if there is "something" up there, it could be dangerous in ways they don't understand. They could find themselves in the middle of an H.P. Lovecraft story.

What if the powers that be already know whats upinthesky and the mars one people are just props and their communications inexplainably go dark right before they touch down and they can only communicate via insturmentation or transponder etc. (Something that says were still here but can't talk) something really convenient so everything can be made up and read to us each week by nasa. God, wouldn't that keep everyone on the edge of their seats waiting for this weeks "Mars reading" either a wierd sci-fi plot or an evil plot, in 2000 id say it's crazy, now?, possible.
I don't even like thinking about it but with the US history of false flags, who knows. The false flags im talking about are the ones they have admitted to . Gulf of tonkin incident, RMS Lusitania and the well documented plan (operation northwoods) to wtage a false flag in the early 60's to aloow us to invade cuba but JFK wouldn't go for it.

It's like this little (glitch) with the rover, I expected this alot sooner.
