Apollo 15: Aristarchus was created by Todd
This is the Apollo 15 70mm hasselblad frame AS15-96-13050 , which shows most of Aristarchus crater , one of the strangest features on the moon. Wittnesses have observed many incidents of Lunar Transient Phenomena, bright red and purple light flashes, which have been documented around the region for centuries. It's also known for its bright albedo. The image below was processed from the NASA/JSC/ASU raw tif scan.

Nice pics; thanks. I downloaded them to my "Moon" folder inside my "Space" folder, of course. I also downloaded the PDF, to my "Todd" folder inside my "WUITS" folder.

Here's a link to Apollo 15 panoramic, AS15-P-0331, tile 8, as processed from the NASA/JSC/Arizona State University raw tif tile scan and uploaded to GigaPan. I rotated the image 90° clockwise for perspective, most of Aristarchus Crater is visible and what a sight it is.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.   They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life.   I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at.  You can get lost in these Gigapans and I really hope that you do!  I spent a lot of time stitching these together and making sure that they were the best quality that I could get them.  SOL 1448 really has been a goldmine for anomaly hunters and those people who are just hobbiest.  I really hope you enjoy this one and expect much more to come from the latest batches of images!
