This image taken by Curiosity's right mastcam on Sol 554 reveals what looks like an exposed block wall or structure. In the foreground of the blocks, lie some very strange looking objects.

:woohoo:

Now that is an interesting image, Todd! Strange how the blue blocks are overlaid with a "pavement", a tan layer. And the objects laying around--some look carved or shaped, and some look rather mechanical. Very nice find!

That one object in front that resembles an overturned car has the head of an eagle or bird of prey.

Well, the Vikings put dragons and things on the front of their ships, so why not? LOL, kinda frightening looking. Maybe they designed their vehicles to scare teenagers with cell-phones into paying attention on the road!

It looks like the "stones" on the left side have fallen inward, and the ones on the right have been slightly buried. I'm going out on a limb here, but repeatedly, the Martian images appear to me to suggest some kind of (I don't want to use the word, religious because that would indicate something good or God-like) so, I'll say ritualistic behavior. There are so many grotesque pieces laying around these destroyed sites.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.   They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life.   I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at.  You can get lost in these Gigapans and I really hope that you do!  I spent a lot of time stitching these together and making sure that they were the best quality that I could get them.  SOL 1448 really has been a goldmine for anomaly hunters and those people who are just hobbiest.  I really hope you enjoy this one and expect much more to come from the latest batches of images!
