I see many unnatural shapes everywhere in these images. just trying to point out the better ones, but, there are numerous other objects. maybe a village or working site of some kind? comments are welcomed. figure out what these were for & let us know!

I think the left mastcam has more noise present than the right cam, probably due to the fact that the left cam is medium angle only, where as the right cam was built for telephoto capabilities. According to the NASA/MSL site, the right mastcam has " three-fold better resolution than any previous landscape-viewing camera on the surface of Mars. " So far, there are two, five frame left mastcam vistas from generally the same position on sol 1255 & 1256 from site 52/2500, which they drove to on sol 1255. Even the raw images I processed were loaded with a lot of noise, especially errant color noise, but I tried to clean it up as much as I could. I think the images, including the one you present, from 1255 have better detail in the immediate foreground than what was taken on 1256, and there is quite a bit of interesting stuff there. These images were processed from the PDS raw DRCL .img files and composited.

In Image, mars.nasa.gov/msl/multimedia/raw/?rawid=1255ML0058610010504128E01_DXXX&s=1255
theres a weird redish/tinted looking mark on the left hand side about a third of the way up. I'm not sure if it's just something to do with the lens or filter used in the image.

Hey there I see there is a red box looking thing about that part of the image. Is that what you are talking about?

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.   They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life.   I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at.  You can get lost in these Gigapans and I really hope that you do!  I spent a lot of time stitching these together and making sure that they were the best quality that I could get them.  SOL 1448 really has been a goldmine for anomaly hunters and those people who are just hobbiest.  I really hope you enjoy this one and expect much more to come from the latest batches of images!
