Here's a version of the L-Cam image and an enlarged enhancement processed from the PDS raw DRCX .img file. You could be on to something Glitch_Neo, the other piece also looks like part of a jawbone. It appears the green coloring was just noise in the grey on the raw browse jpg.

Hey Everyone - Sorry for the late reply!! My sub $12 PC gave up the ghost shortly after I fried its silicon chips making a cool HiRise image - 1.8 billion pixels - was the killer I suspect - the Radeon HD5450 bag of S*@t decided to blue screen me and then plaster the out put with red artifacts and other weirdness.... It's beyond help... and I can't live with onboard graphics - its like having my eyes peppered with salt and gravel.. whilst doing decimal fractions on an abacus...

{I think both samples are likely broken pieces of mineral vein, but given their appearance, I admit, a little doubt exists. There's another interesting piece to the left of the "Jawbone" in the L-Cam image, looks rather jawbone-like too.}

Well Todd, that's probably the best reaction I could have asked for! I like the fact that you and Rocket Dawg in a Very "Spock" like way use logic and skepticism to bring me back to reality - but to have you say it put's a doubt in your mind... Priceless B)

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.   They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life.   I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at.  You can get lost in these Gigapans and I really hope that you do!  I spent a lot of time stitching these together and making sure that they were the best quality that I could get them.  SOL 1448 really has been a goldmine for anomaly hunters and those people who are just hobbiest.  I really hope you enjoy this one and expect much more to come from the latest batches of images!
