This photograph (PSP_009709_1810) was taken by NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) HiRISE Camera on 22 August 2008.

NASA describes this photograph as "Hydraotes Chaos."

I discovered more anomalies which appear to look like destoyed, crashed craft, machinery or even pieces of monuments or structures.

Could these anomalies be evidence of a devastating Martian nuclear war which took place in 1941?

Pure speculation as always, these anomalies look like something unnatural and are not specifically something unnatural.

I downloaded the HiRise B&W Map-Projected JP2 file to view these anomalies.

Hi there, Astronomer Clyde Tombaugh was checking out Mars in August of 1941 when he noticed a really massive, bright flash of light on the surface. He attributed that to a massive explosion of epic proportions.

Personally, this is not my favorite theory for what happened on Mars. However, it is a data point that, accepted at face value, must somehow be connected into the grand scheme of things, into the big picture.

Hi there, I was also rather surprised at the claim, but after seeing all the 'recent' artifacts and anomalies that look rather new and clean I tend to believe this may have actually happened not too long ago. On Earth these artifacts will look a lot worse for wear due to our atmosphere and the presence of water. On Mars they seem to stay 'preserved' longer.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.   They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life.   I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at.  You can get lost in these Gigapans and I really hope that you do!  I spent a lot of time stitching these together and making sure that they were the best quality that I could get them.  SOL 1448 really has been a goldmine for anomaly hunters and those people who are just hobbiest.  I really hope you enjoy this one and expect much more to come from the latest batches of images!
