I don't know if they have any merit or not (for having been creature or machine made), but the "gear segment" also looks like a flat white squash (vegetable), but I don't think that's a cold weather plant ....

The ?? one looks a bit like an aftermarket cup holder that you can get to put in your vehicle. It's actually the most intriguing shape in the whole bunch.

To me, "GEAR SEGMENT" in #1 looks like a gear protruding downward from behind a plate. If this is so, then it looks to me like there should be and axle behind the plate perpendicular to the viewer.

"??" in #4 reminds me of a mounting bracket from off of a piece of machinery, a bolt possibly going through the square part on the right more or less parallel to the viewer.

I have no opinion about the others.

Quasar: The ?? object also sort of looks a little like a suspension part from the front of a vehicle. If there was an image with a better sun angle things might be better, or at least would look different.

Note that the shadows are not completely black, such as they are on the Moon, indicating that there definitely is an atmosphere to scatter the sunlight. The hazy horizons in many images indicate the same thing, and that there is suspended dust in the air. On Earth, much of our haze is water but not on Mars.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.   They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life.   I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at.  You can get lost in these Gigapans and I really hope that you do!  I spent a lot of time stitching these together and making sure that they were the best quality that I could get them.  SOL 1448 really has been a goldmine for anomaly hunters and those people who are just hobbiest.  I really hope you enjoy this one and expect much more to come from the latest batches of images!
