All credit due to the original researcher that discovered this anomaly.

The artifact featured here in Spirit Rovers Sol 672 panoramic photograph looks like a face.

This is truly a spectacular artifact as it clearly features a forehead, two eyes, nose and chin. Is this perhaps a sculpture?

Not far from it to the right is another weird artifact. It appears to have two pairs of small triangular items sticking out of a long narrow pyramid-shaped piece. Could these be hooves of a fossilized creature or glyphs?

In cases where I say an anomaly looks like something I’m attempting to clarify what I see and not specifically that the anomaly is what I say it looks like.

My intention is only to share anomalies I've discovered on Mars and not to convince anyone that there is or was a civilization on Mars.

I did a version using L2 for red, L5 for green and L6 for blue. I don't see that an L7 filter version exists, which makes me wonder what Neal used for his GigaPan color, which is excellent by the way. I think the "face" looks like that because of the two protruding nodules or bumps present on the sample. Interesting stuff though. Here is my full version processed from the PDS .img files with an enhanced enlargement of the relevant feature below.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.   They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life.   I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at.  You can get lost in these Gigapans and I really hope that you do!  I spent a lot of time stitching these together and making sure that they were the best quality that I could get them.  SOL 1448 really has been a goldmine for anomaly hunters and those people who are just hobbiest.  I really hope you enjoy this one and expect much more to come from the latest batches of images!
