There is a multi-leveled topography present on the Southern Hemisphere of Dione, taken by NASA's Cassini, that appears less random and more as if it has been intelligently manipulated for a purpose. I inverted the image for some perspective.

Chris from MARS Anomalies comes to more or less the same conclusion from the other recent Dione image.

There do appear to be quite a few large structures there. Can't wait to take a closer look. Thank Todd!!

Here is another view of the multi-leveled topography present on Dione as taken by Cassini's ISS, strange stuff. The images below were processed from the PDS raw .img files, enlargements below.

I'd never really looked at saturn and a lot of the moons in any depth, what a fascinating almost mini system within our solar system - Dione is one of many odditiies I see... I'm going to open a few more rabbit holes for me and Alice to wander down i've no doubt.... The more I research the more questions I have - theory into philosophy and back round again... :pinch:

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.   They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life.   I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at.  You can get lost in these Gigapans and I really hope that you do!  I spent a lot of time stitching these together and making sure that they were the best quality that I could get them.  SOL 1448 really has been a goldmine for anomaly hunters and those people who are just hobbiest.  I really hope you enjoy this one and expect much more to come from the latest batches of images!
