file Object Resembling Pickup Truck in Sol 1197 Mastcam Image

I think in retrospect, it's just a multi-colored / toned outcrop with some odd debris around. Distant details in the left cam are somewhat unreliable and this this is another good example. Here is the same section from sol 1201, the right camera image looks considerably better.

I haven't even found the pickup truck in any of the images yet. My eyes must be lousy. Help me out? :P

You're on your own.:P Personally, I have commented on the "truck" for the last time. :)

There is so much in this picture, I'm shocked they released it. Every where you look, there is something.

These are composites made from the right Mastcam images taken on sol 1201. The images that make up the top composite definitely have a blurry foreground, although the dunes and background are in focus.

To me, this looks like "a trick of light and shadow."

Well -- there goes the I just seen nineteen hundred and 54 billon year old Ford Pick Up.
Thanks for that clarity Todd. And the car - ish item I could see is just rocks as well. But I knew that. A little fuzziness can sure make Ying look like Yang.
But now I see what looks like pipes on the ground in front of what was thought to look like the front of a pick up. I suspect that is just the shadow on the ends of rocks that give it a hollow pipe appearance.
The veins in the rocks above right of what I called the Dutch Oven may have fed the item I spoke of in the oven itself. Perhaps it is nothing more than a puddle of solidified sludge.
I work with pewter in sand molds and similar things show up in my work.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.   They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life.   I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at.  You can get lost in these Gigapans and I really hope that you do!  I spent a lot of time stitching these together and making sure that they were the best quality that I could get them.  SOL 1448 really has been a goldmine for anomaly hunters and those people who are just hobbiest.  I really hope you enjoy this one and expect much more to come from the latest batches of images!
