Here is a composite made from right Mastcam images taken on sol 173 in "Yellowknife Bay" at the "John Klein" drill site.

Welcome to the forums! Love to have people interested and that take the time to pull things out and discuss them. That whole area was insane! The rover is finally getting to some good stuff again as well. I wish the PDS images came out monthly instead of the long intervals that they do now!

Glad to have you on the boards!

RocketDawg! Spot on mate.

Here's a new one from today I have been playing with. (Not a Martian Rover though in this one, sorry!  )

Glitch ... I watched Will's video last night and at one point he zoomed in on the object that appears to be a carved face of some sort (the one in the lower right hand corner of the still picture).

He zoomed in on it a bit at one time, and the closer the view, the less it looks like anything other than a rock. Conceivable it could be a carved object that has eroded over time, leaving only the vague image of what it once could have been, but if it's a carving, it was never a Michealangelo polished Carrera marble sculpture. :)

I am anxiously looking forward to the day when NASA (and perhaps international partners) send astronauts to Mars so we can really know what's going on. The rover pictures certainly pique our curiosity for the time being though.

Sorry I missed your post earlier - Definitely something "created or manufactured" I'll try and pull some detail out - Got to go and be a normal human now, socialize, go out and have a meal - Family's orders!

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.   They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life.   I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at.  You can get lost in these Gigapans and I really hope that you do!  I spent a lot of time stitching these together and making sure that they were the best quality that I could get them.  SOL 1448 really has been a goldmine for anomaly hunters and those people who are just hobbiest.  I really hope you enjoy this one and expect much more to come from the latest batches of images!
