Here is a composite made from right Mastcam images taken on sol 173 in "Yellowknife Bay" at the "John Klein" drill site.

Glitch ... I watched Will's video last night and at one point he zoomed in on the object that appears to be a carved face of some sort (the one in the lower right hand corner of the still picture).
He zoomed in on it a bit at one time, and the closer the view, the less it looks like anything other than a rock. Conceivable it could be a carved object that has eroded over time, leaving only the vague image of what it once could have been, but if it's a carving, it was never a Michealangelo polished Carrera marble sculpture.
I am anxiously looking forward to the day when NASA (and perhaps international partners) send astronauts to Mars so we can really know what's going on. The rover pictures certainly pique our curiosity for the time being though.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel. They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life. I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at. You can get lost in these Gigapans and I really hope that you do! I spent a lot of time stitching these together and making sure that they were the best quality that I could get them. SOL 1448 really has been a goldmine for anomaly hunters and those people who are just hobbiest. I really hope you enjoy this one and expect much more to come from the latest batches of images!
