For the record -- I was not suggesting it was a stone skull -- meant to mean it resembled a skull.
And was not suggesting it was something made.
My problem is I have seen hundreds of stone skull looking shapes throughout most of the Gigapans.
It's almost like I have all these creepy stone heads looking at me.

Thank you for the Sir, but it is not required. We are all folks with an equal interest in Mars, warts and all.

lol I wasn't suggesting it was a Skull, I just thought the orbits and nasal opening did resemble a skull very well...

At first I couldn't see the trees for the wood so to speak...

Sol 1039 Gigapan - Large ground shot, I though it was an interesting set of images.

Sol 1822 Left Mastcam (M34) - Mosaic - Overlayed onto Large version Greyscale Mosaic    (Am I supposed to do that? lol)

Enlarged to 20,000 pixels using Faststone Image Viewer and "Lanczos" antroscopic filtering - then reduced down to 16,000 pixels using "Bi-linear" Filtering to keep some crispness to the image. Hope it works...... Fingers crossed

Any advice on keeping clarity with enlargement would be useful.... I'm like a monkey hitting options until things look better!

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.   They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life.   I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at.  You can get lost in these Gigapans and I really hope that you do!  I spent a lot of time stitching these together and making sure that they were the best quality that I could get them.  SOL 1448 really has been a goldmine for anomaly hunters and those people who are just hobbiest.  I really hope you enjoy this one and expect much more to come from the latest batches of images!
