Here's one I've really thrown together in about 20 mins - Colours not superb, but better than boring old Gray...

Glitch ... on Sol 1448 (the last of your gigapans above), on the right side of the highest peak: I wonder how long that cantilevered piece will last before it falls off? Looks very precarious.

 I'm not sure - On Earth it would hve sheered off a long time ago, the lower Gravity can only account for so much... I have been looking a lot at the "Sedimentary Rock(s)" that seem to be 1; ruins & 2; shattered - I Don't think all the "Sedimentary Rock" formations are that at all. I personally think the slowly dwindling resources and dying planet steered the civilisation towards a fast, plentiful resource of dirt, cements, lime etc... in its construction methods..Less effort = more time to focus on the more important fact(s) that the planet is/was on the slippery slope to desolation..

It makes sense to use every resource to its fullest... and lets face it, there plenty of sand / dust / dirt / regolith and varying stone compounds to take full advantage and use it to make almost "Pre fabricated" sections... or "As needed on site" so to speak...

We think of construction / fabrication / use of materials in a very narrow band / bracket - due to our influences and knowledge from generations past and present as the knowledge is passed on and slowly evolves... I can imagine Martians doing things the way "their" past, present and resources saw fit... not necessarily the "Human Way"

Perhaps it is a piece of manufactured material, metal if you prefer. If this be the case, then it could have a very high shear strength . It appears to me that the “precarious part” is actually part of a larger piece. This piece appears to me to extend vertically from the upper left and downward to the right at about 45 degrees.

Horizontal (“Horizontal-ish?") layer-looking shapes extend from this descending diagonal on the left upward and to the right at a fair slant. Perhaps it is a chunk of something that flew down from the upper right, out of the sky, and landed there, and stuck.

‘Might as well go with a spaceship. It reminds me of the front of a warp-drive engine from Star Trek off of one of the smaller shuttle craft. Yep. I’m going with that.
:silly:

Uh...make that an impulse drive.  B)

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.   They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life.   I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at.  You can get lost in these Gigapans and I really hope that you do!  I spent a lot of time stitching these together and making sure that they were the best quality that I could get them.  SOL 1448 really has been a goldmine for anomaly hunters and those people who are just hobbiest.  I really hope you enjoy this one and expect much more to come from the latest batches of images!
