I was thinking about zooming in and screen capturing it and posting its location as a comment. However, I found out there are two, the original and a second that I call "the impostor." I am unable to locate unable to find the original. Any directions will be welcome.

“We should visit the moon of Mars, there’s a monolith there, a very unusual structure on this little potato shaped object that revolves around Mars once every seven hours. When people find out about that they are going to say, 'Who put that there? Who put that there?' Well the universe put it there, or if you choose God put it there.”

Glitch, I didn't realize there was a second monument.

And finding the original without directions would be like finding a needle in a haystack ... or worse. But somebody found it at one time

I use the PDS RDR JP2, it comes with a label. I don't use HiView.

Sir you are a scholar and a gent!

I've used the largest JP2 (Non map projected) and opened them through IrfanView - but I'll give the PDS version a go - I take it multi-spec can handle the conversion to a .tif?

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.   They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life.   I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at.  You can get lost in these Gigapans and I really hope that you do!  I spent a lot of time stitching these together and making sure that they were the best quality that I could get them.  SOL 1448 really has been a goldmine for anomaly hunters and those people who are just hobbiest.  I really hope you enjoy this one and expect much more to come from the latest batches of images!
